Could CBD be the answer?

Smoke This: A large survey found that women were primary users of CBD products.

Okay, let’s take a break from the seriousness and talk about what everyone is talking about -CBD. I know, I know, I am interrupting your flow of my nail-biting, gripping story, but you’ll get over it.

CBD. Cannibidiol – the compound found in cannabis. Weed. Marijuana. Pot. Whatever you call it. More and more information is emerging about the medical benefits of CBD, especially now that more states on getting on board with legalizing marijuana. Many people have begun using CBD for improvements with sleep, pain, anxiety, depression, and other neurological disorders that may be self-diagnosed.
CBD is a compound found in marijuana that does not give you the “high” – that’s the THC. The mechanism of action of CBD is not entirely clear, but can interact with neurotransmitter receptors which can impact many functions of the body.
I spoke with a friend recently who has a history of insomnia and she has recently started using CBD to help her sleep. She lives in Denver where marijuana is legal, so she is unable to purchase CBD at a dispensary without some THC, but she said that it has really helped her sleep.
There are many CBD “boutiques” that have popped up around our area, but you can also purchase CBD oils, foods, and whatever else online. If you are someone who suffers from insomnia, pain, or anxiety and have tried other things, you may just want to give CBD a shot.

Have you tried it? What do you think?

Sound Bite: Just try some if you haven’t. Everyone has something that CBD can improve. 😊
