Fed Up


I have posted about the health risks associated with processed food and sugar consumption many times before, but the documentary "Fed Up" sums it up nicely.  It's scary to see where our society is headed. Even people who are not overweight or obese are still "sick" because of the food we're eating.

I highly recommend watching it.

"Junk is still junk, even if it's less junky."

  1. Eye opening & very important documentary, thank you for the recommendation. BTW through a combination of eating less & exercising more..now lost 20lbs in the last year. Weight wise I am right where I want to be now...but surely still consuming too much sugar.. TOFI

  2. That’s awesome that you were able to lose weight by eating less and exercising more – huh, who knew? ;)
    By getting in your exercise though, I doubt you are truly TOFI! And keeping sugar to a minimum and in moderation will not cause much harm. Judging by the fact you didn’t eat any of our salt water taffy, I doubt you eat that much simple sugar.
    I have not seen it myself, but have heard the HBO special “Weight of the Nation” is also a good one!
